Pride starts this week and the parade is this Saturday at 4 p.m. downtown. Do you have your Pride gear yet? We’ve rounded up some of the best local LGBT retailers where you can get your rainbow on. Literally.
Embellish FX (Facebook | Website) 2628 Edgeater Drive [GMap] – College Park – This is one of the best costume boutiques in Central Florida. They have theatrical makeup, costume rentals and tons of wigs. They also carry supplies needed for body painting and Cosplay.
Fairvilla Megastore (Facebook | Website) 1740 N. Orange Blossom Trail [GMap] – North OBT – Fairvilla is a Narnia of strange and sexy merchandise. They stalk everything from apparel, swimwear, books, toys, and romantic edibles to costumes and strange masks.
Magic Mall Plaza (Facebook | Website) 2155 W. Colonial Drive [GMap] – Parramore – An indoor flea market specializing in the outrageously tacky and fabulous. Magic Mall has everything from “fine” art to wigs, boots, and blinged-out apparel.
Mojoman Swimwear (Facebook | Website) 653 Maguire Blvd. [GMap] – Coytown – One of the largest gay-owned and operated clothing stores in Orlando. The store carries tank tops, shirts, underwear and swimwear.
Ritzy Rags (Facebook | Website) 928 N. Mills Ave. [GMap] – Mills 50 District – Ritzy Rags is run by Orlando drag royalty, Leigh Shannon. It specializes in a variety of queen paraphenalia from breast forms to shoes and wigs.
UBU Apparel (Facebook | Website) 811 Virginia Drive [GMap] – Ivanhoe Village – UBU specializes in fashionable styles of underwear and swimwear for men featuring brands like Timoteo, Mundo Unico, and Andrew Christian.
